Growing up in Florida, I thought the only way to camp was to drive to the campsite & set everything up. That sometimes included air mattresses and gas stoves. But, living in Seattle has exposed me to people that really camp, hike with all of their stuff, dig holes to...um...take care of business, and basically hand over their lives to nature & what ever experience they have with the great outdoors. I am not opposed to this at all, it's just something that I have never done and, honestly, after seeing these rolling huts I think I might just pass on that more adventurous type of camping.
Would this be considered glamping? I don't really like that term, but I also don't really care because these huts are dope! Designed by one of my fave PNW architects, Tom Kundig, these rolling sanctuaries are a really neat place to set up camp and just get away for a bit.
